VR headsets

Today Mrs Shrestha brought a mysterious black suitcase in the class. We all asked her "whats in the black suitcase your carrying". She said "You'll find out after the roll". After the roll we saw what was in the box and we shouted "Yay" it was VR headsets. After our teacher explained how to use them we experienced lots of joy using the VR headsets. My favourite experience was the Moon landing I tried jumping around the moon then a weird figure appeared in the pitch black universe and it was a space shuttle I was excited and scared then a astronaut jumped out and that gave me a fright. Suddenly Mrs Shrestha said " its been 5 minutes now you can off your headsets" and that was the end.

A school day is from 8am to 4pm?

A school day is from 8am to 4pm?

I disagree on this statement because we have our own rights to pick what time we start school and we have reasons and activities after school or before school. Firstly I don't want school to start at 8am and end at 4pm because many kids like me want to spend more time with our family. But when we get older we cannot spend any time with our family because we´ll move out and have our own family. Secondly I want to have longer basketball training because I like playing the sport and learning new techniques and drills. My second reason is because I need to be fit and exercise because my body can't cope with holding lots of weight and being healthy because I don't want any diseases or sickness. Lastly I don't want the teachers to have lots of work and I want them to spend time with their family and rest. Plus they need some time to themselves. We should keep it as it was in the beginning.

Should we keep animals in the zoo?

Should we keep animals in the zoo?

Animals have been roaming this planet for decades and millenniums so we should take care of them and make sure they don ́t get extinct because some clean the earth and some save the earth.

Firstly I agree to keep animals in the zoo because many are endangered and lots are not endangered like fishes. I agree to only keep the animals who cannot protect themselves or who are endangered in the zoo because the zookeepers can take much more care.

Secondly I agree on keeping the animals that are sick or the ones whose homes have been destroyed. We should keep the animals in the zoo for them to be studied and not be extincted or sold. Lastly I also disagree to keep some animals in the zoo because some are endangered and lots have a big population like fishes.

Some of the animals in the zoo have artificial habitats and the wrong kind of food. Many need freedom to roam around, learn how to hunt, and learn many survival tips for them to be pasted down from generation to generation and keep history alive.

Animals

Animals

Rabbits are herbivores they eat only plants like carrots, cabbage, and they also eat dried fruit. Their body is covered with fluffy fur that are long or short. Their habitat is in the forests, grasslands, burrows, or underground tunnels but if you have them as your pet they will live in a cage. For them to survive they need lots of attention from their owners of people. Did you know that more than half of rabbits in the world live in North America.

Birds are herbivores and they eat mostly seeds, worms, apples and fruit. But there are other types of birds like ones that eat fish like pelicans and ones that eat plants. Some birds live in a cage like domestic birds and other birds live in trees, beaches, forest, marshes, grasslands, and estuaries. Birds are covered with different colored feathers like brown, white, grey, and red. Bird need to survive by being put outside for fresh air if you have them as a pet and other birds need to eat and hunt. Fact birds are warm blooded and have over 10,000 species worldwide.

All dogs have fluffy fur coated all over them head to toe. Dogs are Carnivores they meat, dog biscuits, and canned dog food. Many usually live in a kennel outside or some in a cage inside. They need to survive by being taken to walks outside and groomed with a brush. Did you know a dogs smell is estimated around 10,000 stronger than humans sense of smell.

Pet fishes eat fish pellets, flakes, and other fish eat worms, crustaceans, and smaller fish. Fishes live in a variety of places like coral reefs, kelp forests, river, streams, lakes, ponds, under sea ice, deep waters, rocky shores, brackish water, and salt water. But if you have a pet fish they would probably live in a fish tank or a bowl. Fish are mostly covered with scales from their head to their fin. For pet fishes they need a clean a fresh tank that needs to be refilled. Did you know that fish are omnivores they eat meat and plants. Did you also know that their are over 30,000 species of fish.

A scroll in memory

Kamusta everyone

Our Anzac Fact file is about a person or a group of people in the war. We all got a special piece of history from the war and studied information about the item. My item was a scroll from Buckingham palace. This was a document that his family received to acknowledge his service in the war. It was about Alexander Campbell Robertson, how he was brave and a great comrade in the war. We did this to pay tribute the soldiers that sacrificed their lives for our country.
In remembrance of Alexander Campbell Robertson.

Thank you for looking at my blog.

Coconut Crab

Coconut Crab

Kamusta bloggers today I'ill be talking about the endangered coconut crabs

Coconut crabs are endangered because they are tormented by humans for their delicate meat and flesh.A special fact is they have the largest  terrestrial arthropod in the world. They utilise a organ called the branchiostegal lung to breath. The most rewarding part of the crab are the eggs inside the female coconut crab. They are located in the Indian Ocean and pacific ocean and in the cook islands. They have claws that could lacerate the skin of a chicken and meat.

Kia Ora bloggers today i will be talking about my favourite place in school.

My favourite place in school is the bush walk.  My friends and I had a lot of fun there because we built a big operation base encompassed by sticks. We assemble quotidian at break time at school. We built it almost a metre long. Whenever I position my feet on the semi-liquid mud and crushing the sticks as it's fracturing I felt the gust of wind flowing through my lungs as I ran through the bush walk. I could hear the birds chirping and students mumbling. The bush walk is my favourite and I love it. We started building the substructure when I was year three. We learnt new words and better words for example I pirouette the stick vertically.

Today i will be showing you guys three things that a learned from a video about safety in a air plane.  Here is my first safety rule always check you have your seat belt on and when you see the sign unbuckle your seat belt you can take it off or going toilet. My second rule is when the plane your in and you crash into water you have to press a button or a lever to activate your life jacket or get it under you seat below. My last rule is listen to the pilot for emergency if your about to crash and have air turbulence that went wrong.
